Roxy Rue and the Ruining

After her older teenage sister's suicide, Katie's image on the world and her life changes. She loses interest in things she once loved, every thought becomes pessimistic and dull, and her grades lower to the point of almost failing. Upon receiving a guitar for Christmas- that she had been talking about for over a year- Katie decides to learn to play from her best friend Daniel and she realizes that she's really talented, which inspires her to start a rock band.
