Prologue [rewritten}

Sholan and Justice used to be best friends when they were younger but when they lose contact things change – they change. When they meet up three years later, things are very different for both of them. Justice now has a steady boyfriend and Sholan appears to be jealous. Is Justice's boyfriend really gay? Is Justice pregnant? Will her brother Jedd ever recover from his traumatising accident? A series of unfortunate events occur and will there really be a happy ending?
