A Poem For 9/11- Ten Year Anniversary

To remember what happened on the tragic day of September 11th, 2001, I've written a poem specifically for the ten year anniversary of the event. Since there are not many words strong enough to describe how I feel about what happened, I tried my best by comparing America to a weak but growing flower. Yes, this piece is somber; however, I feel we all must know about our nation's past in order to know what to expect in the future and try our best to prepare ourselves. After all:
