Description
CEO, Tobias Voight, is a man who is quickly running out of time: he's behind on taxes. Not only is he behind on taxes, the security company he runs is on the verge of bankruptcy - unbeknownst to the employees. His plan? Sabotage: one man stands while another man falls. Using the media as a distraction to divert the government's attention away from him, he broadcasts a video over major news channels to direct a message to an unsuspecting Sylvia Harlow. He reveals that he's kidnapped her family. What is more, he places a huge bounty over them for their rescue. The public is told to make no mistake that this is a kidnapping/hostage situation so if anyone sees Sylvia and tries to help her should know that they will be kidnapped too - sparking fear into everyone. Frightened and confused, Sylvia is forced to race against time in order to save her family. However, Sylvia has been feeling really strange lately and doesn't know if there is anyone she can trust to help her out. One by one, details come to light as Sylvia embarks on a twisted journey to find the missing pieces connected to her true identity. All the while thinking that she is alone, she meets a person who must undergo a similar task, becoming a partner to confide in and to love her for who she is despite it all.
