Fifteen-year old Tessa Brown is an average teenage girl who loves to write and study the arts, but she has never been one of the "good kids". She was always getting into trouble, especially with her education and parents. Instead of talking it out with her family, she'd rather sit in silence and let the bad memories pass by day by day. That all changes when she transfers to Riverdell High School and meets the one and only, Seth Dante. Seth Dante; the local weirdo. Thanks to an inspiring project assigned from their english teacher, she and Seth are paired up for the assignment. Tessa and Seth end up spending more time together than expected. Tessa learns that she can't keep everything to herself and that she isn't the only person in the world with problems while building new friendships and learning lessons she will always remember.
