Amelia's Collar

Amelia never had the life of a normal child. Hers was tragic, yet at the same time, held a special sort of peace. You see, Amelia didn't grow up in the kind of world we know and live in. Hers took place "behind the scenes", within the underground business of human trafficking and the slave trade.

But, this was the only life she ever knew. She didn't see it is bad, shameful or something that others should pity her for. It's all she has ever known, and she's happy.

At least, until she's taken away from the only one who has ever loved her and thrust into a completely different lifestyle; stolen away from the ones she loves and holds dear.
