I love music. I collect it. My memories are melodies; playing by like little wisps of music riding the wind. The wind that, in turn, will take them nowhere. Books; their pages turn in the wake of the wind. Their stories taken into the throng of music, lifted and taken around the world, once, twice; their movements synchronized, until at last someone knows the stories they tell. Then, they resign to nowhere; their stories trailing behind them like the beautiful tails of comets in a night’s sky. The nowhere they go is eternal, and nearly no one knows it’s there. Princesses and knights seem to fight, and the world spins once more… the music still playing… Now a little girl, not so little anymore, with bright green, knowing, caring, and fierce eyes, climbs to the top of a mountain, and puts her hands to the wind, her hair swinging as a sudden air flows around her, and melodies, and stories, make the air thick with screams of fear, laughter, happiness, joy, sorrow, and lastly, music.
