Tropical with the Chance of....Snow?

Jill had everything. A wonderful house with the warm and tropical views of lovely Miami, Florida; crazy friends, a loving boyfriend, even a mother to be by her side. Just as life was going at its greatest...tragedy strikes. Her mother ends up in a car crash and is in the hospital due to a coma. Without her grandparents to be able to care for her, who could she stay with? She soon finds everything she loves being torn away from her when she's flown up to the cold snowy state of little ol' Maine. It's here where she finds that she is forced to stay with her father, whom left her and her mother several years ago when she was younger. Now all there's left to do is to survive high school and the harsh weather of this unpopular state. Will she have what it takes to survive or will she go insane in the process?
