Description
Chapter One: I was running, the sweat on my skin kept forcing more and more out of my heated body. I kept running into multiple trees. I must have had 20 scratches from it. I finally stopped. My body wouldn't go any further. That's all I could remember, I sat up from the little quant shelter and sighed. I went outside seeing only the burnt out sun coming back to life. I went over to the pile of wood I collected over the past months. How many now? ... 5? I refreshed the crispy fire and smiled at the sight of the flames came back. I need food; I haven't eaten in a while. I went in the shelter to find my homemade bow and grabbed my knife so I could make more arrows. I gathered at least 23 little sticks and started to shape them into fine points. I picked up all the sticks and placed them into a leather bag I had made and a long time ago from a deer skin. I started to head out into the woods. I've went out a lot to get my food and each time it makes me nervous. All the animals in the woods, I was starting to get anxious, I wanted to go home. I was praying each day and yet nothing has happened. I put my chain of thought back into hunting. I sat into some bushes; my regular spot. I sat for an hour or so and finally I saw a deer. I started to sweat, I raised my bow and pointed the slim, brittle bow at the deer, and my hands were sweating and shaking. I finally released the arrow and the arrow shot from my hand. It impaled the deer right in the line of the heart. The deer fell down and I slowly got up and I walked over to the deer. I hated looking at dead animals, I loved them. I started to tear up and picked the dead deer up. I dragged it back to the campsite. I couldn't do this anymore. I'm going to die out here, I can't, I ran away when I was little, running away from my ... father, he would abuse me and hurt me. I needed to, to find my mom or someone from my family.
