Nearly two years ago Violet lost her brother in a horrific car accident. Six months after that she's reunited with his best friend, Grey, the one who was driving at the time. Violet learns to forgive him and soon falls in love. But her parents are furious with him and haven't spoken of Grey since the accident. Forced to keep their 'relationship' a secret they spend their time sneaking around and mostly fighting--something Violet's sick of.
