its the diary of an 8 year old girl whos mum forces her to enter pageants. Jessie hates getting dressed up and caking on the makeup. she is forced to do it. if it was up to her she wouldnt worry about when her next spray tan appointment was or getting the most expensive dress going. She wants an education she wants a life outside winning. so when she finally starts school she finds it wasnt as easy as she thought.
