He drinks, he smokes, and he gets into a lot of fights. Not to mention he has girls swooning left to right with his mysterious persona. With a façade like this, anyone would think he was as rock hard on the inside as he is on the outside, right? But, somewhere behind those cocky words and the leather jacket, is someone who has been hurt and abandoned. Owen has only seen his father four times since he was eight and he is eighteen years old now, for goodness' sake! Hope Anderson is your ordinary good girl, but she’s more reserved than most people. Maybe she’s shy because her mom is never around anymore. Maybe it’s because she doesn’t have as many friends as a “normal” person. Or maybe it’s because her father has been hitting her since she was a child. But, when is someone going to save her? Can chance meeting between these two neighbors change everything?
