"I'm not like you," I said stepping back. That only made him walk even closer to me. "Please Jacob don't reject me. That'll literally kill me if you reject me," he whispered. How can this happen to me, it's like I'm living my brother's life. "Jason, I can't do this. I'm not like Tyler, Justin, or your brother. I accept you as a vampire, but a mate? That's too much for me to handle." I saw the hurt in his eyes, and I truly felt bad. After Tyler's wedding Jacob (His brother) and Jason (James's brother) started hanging out together. Knowing Jason is a vampire as well, Jacob feels like he has to keep his guard up whenever he's around him. Little did he know that he's his mate. Jason has to try to convince Jacob that he's his mate before it's too late.
