Severus Snape is struggling after the loss of his friendship with Lily. At the beginning of his sixth year he receives a note with instructions, and even with his doubts he follows them.
Rebecca Snow is an abused girl living on her own in an orphanage, trying to make her way in life when she's stuck between a rock and a hard place. She wishes to find a friend, someone who will care about her.
