Everything existed for a purpose. For example, Mochida Chloe - she wasn't born, she was just there. She just existed - an enigma to the world surrounding her.

Taken in and nursed to health by a loving family, Chloe grew up to believe that she served only one purpose - become the greatest pokemon trainer in the world. And - her family humored her. As she reached the necessary age, she set out to fulfill her destiny - her purpose. But when she defeated a Gym Leader in Sinnoh, an anonymous invitation invited her to an underground lab with shady workers. Given a pokedex to complete, not so soon later Chloe discovers that it wasn't just a pokedex.
