Chapter 1: Part of Me

Jade is a pretty normal girl with a strong love for music. She records videos and puts them on YouTube. Her favorite playlist has over 100 songs. But Jade's life is far from perfect. At home her parents are drunk every night, and beat her if she doesn't do what they say. Her brother is a big shot in college, and used to beat her. Her family was never once encouraging. What would happen if one of Jade's favorite singers finds her YouTube channel and works to save her? Will she end up becoming famous and changing her name? Or will she hide away and do something that she can never take back?
