People with long term use die when the brain finally shuts down from excessive usage. Death Statistics: 89.7 %. Those who refuse to use it are ripped from their homes, along with their families and used as test subjects. Death statistics: 96.8 %. There is no winning for the people who refuse to use it. There is only a daily struggle to stay alive and sober. Those people are called rebels. Nona fled from her mother at eighteen taking her then infant sister, Ava, with her.
