Kim Jinhwan

The group was first introduced in 2013 through the reality survival program Who Is Next: WIN as Team B, which consisted of B.I, Bobby, Kim Jinhwan, Koo Junhoe, Song Yunhyeong, and Kim Donghyuk. Both Team A and B consisted of trainees of YG Entertaiment Since Team B lost to Team A, they lost the opportunity to debut as Winner , though they released three singles as "Team B".

In June 2014, Team B got another chance through another reality survival program called "MIX & MATCH" to create a seven-member boy band. B.I , Bobby and Jinhwan alongside with the winning members , Donghyuk , Junhoe , Yunhyeong and Chanwoo will debut as iKON in early 2015.
