Tyler Jøseph is not a happy boy. After discovering he's hearing voices and seeing things, the alter ego he has named Blurryface, his parents take him to a psychiatric hospital.

A few weeks later, Tyler gets a roommate. His name is Jøsh and they click more than anyone could have expected.
