Meet Sophia Merrick. An average, quiet, sort-of smart high school student. Raised in a strict Christian household, she's lived by "simple" rules all of her life. No drugs, no drinking, no smoking, no partying, no boyfriends, and NO pre-marital sex. Oh and she's a senior in high school too. As the last day of high school approaches, she finds herself applying for scholarships for extra college money. When she stumbles upon Drastic Times Call for Drastic Writing, a scholarship giving $12,000 to a student whose essay best demonstrates a life that is drastically changed by one event and the outcome, she knows she could have a shot. Why? One name. Evan Collet. Boy-not-so-genius. Student Body President. Teacher Ass Kisser. But most notably known as Beacon Hill High School's best linebacker. Their end of the summer "fling" that continued it's way into the beginning of senior year changed one normal girl's life. And not for the better.
