After decades of being sealed underground, monsters have returned to the surface world. However you can't help but feel that they are hiding something. What happened to Chara, the first human to fall into the underground? Curiously, you journey to Mt. Ebott, only to encounter something you never thought you'd see. Or someone: Chara.
