Though her mother, adoptive father & siblings didn't see race as a factor, pretty much all of the kids at her school do. She was an outcast with the exception of her biracial friend, Heather, who just happened to be light enough to pass for white. But when the new kid arrives from the town she was born in, that her mother fled will things get better or worse for Taylar? Will he be the one to turn her life into something sweet. Or just leave even more of a sour twist in her life?
