Once Upon a Time. . .

Once upon a time. . . Now that's a rather silly opening! it's been used awfully too much. It's becoming rather annoying actually; but, I suppose some people like the classics. I also suppose it is rather appropriate for this case, seeing as this story matches a "Once upon a time. . ." story very well. But, the difference in this story, is that of the perspective. Usually the perspective is from the hero--or, not-so-hero, the girl, or the villain--but what about the side-kick? the best friend? the companion? I think it's about time that their story got told, so, here's one of my favourites. . .
