After her mum and dad got divorced, her mother went to Paris to "find herself" & her dad got engaged to some 25 year old. Instead of spending the summer alone, her mother sent her to her grandmother's beach house in Malibu. Instead of thinking she'll have a boring summer, she ends up having the best summer of her life.
