Prologue

Everyone is given a necklace at birth, and it has half of a shape on it. Your soulmate has the other half. The necklace gets warmer as you get closer to your soulmate and colder as you get farther away from them. Kaylee Wilson spends most of her teenage years searching for her soulmate, even though she finds it hard to believe that she has one.
