Caitlyn Estrella Wesley knew she was not an ordinary girl. She wore dark clothes, and could see in the dark. The worst part of her life though, was that she seemed to creep people out without trying, so she was avoided and had no friends. Other than that, she lived a dull life, until one day, her handicapped latin teacher got out of his wheelchair. Her teacher's name was Mr. Brunner.

When Caitlyn is told that she's a demigod, she can scarcely believe it. At that moment Caitlyn knew that her life would never be the same.
