Enthralled

His eyes caught me from across the room, burning black and depthless. Like everything else about him they were mesmerizing, captivating. There was a confidence in his step, a swagger and easy arrogance that drew the eye, only to be encountered by the most dangerously beautiful man anyone would ever see. It was like the first time I saw him all over again. So captivating. So utterly and completely enthralling. All you could see and think was him, the dark beauty of him. He was a God and I a mere mortal meant to worship him. Even then I knew he was more than human. Something beyond mortal. Something powerful. Something dangerous. It wasn't in just the way he moved, or his god like perfection. It was the hint of swirling shadows in his eyes, the air of illusion that hung around him. He was something more. But even in the beginning I knew he would break me, shatter me and devour the very essence of who I was. I couldn't be bothered to care. If I was to drown, to be devoured to be shattered let it be by him. Because even in that first moment I knew. I was completely and utterly his. This creature, he owned me. This being. He had already possessed me. I was caught. Bound to him. I was chaos. And he, he was mystic.
