June 14, 1997. Willow Winters was born. she was named for her unusual white-as-snow hair. She also had icy blue-grey eyes, which no one in her family had. June 15, 1997. Willow was taken home and left in a room by herself while her twin brother, a boy with dark brown hair and brown eyes, was treated like a gift from heaven. August 2, 1998. Willow was crying all alone in her room, the small, dark basement when her father came into the room and started to beat her, trying to get her to be quiet. October 27, 1998. The first time Willow's father had tried to kill her. He had only wanted a boy and since he has one, Willow's twin, he saw no use for her. 15 years later, Willow is now 16 years old and she had already shifted into a beautiful black wolf with a white triangle shape on her head when she was the age of twelve. No one has seen her wolf and everyone in her pack thinks of her as the weakest and the alpha's son has commanded her to never shift because of this. Everyday for the last 16 years of her life, she has been bullied, starved, and verbally and physically abused by her pack for being different. When the Alpha's son turns 18, it is time for him to find his mate. Everyone is surprised when Willow comes out of her room during the party and everyone is even more surprised to find Willow and Alex, the Alpha's son, having a stare down outside of her door. He instantly rejects her and walks away, leaving her humiliated. She decides to do the only thing that she can do to escape her life, She runs away.
