Coming up on her senior year in high school, Colette Brown is working hard to get into Julliard, the most prestigious school- just so she can get as far away from home as possible. She struggles with trusting people because of her past and relying on people because they always leave.

Niall Horan is the most popular guy at school but hates every minute of it. He has a hard time finding a true friend who likes him for who he is- instead of pretending to be his "friend" just so they can get into the coolest group at school.
