Two parallel stories- one that starts with Qing-Yu's first meeting and another is their present day story when they have already been cast for the webseries and are rehearsing/shooting for that. It is inspired from all the real events of their lives, that we know from their interviews and fanmeets. If you don't know QingYu, let me introduce you to QingYu first. QingYu is my OTP. They are two actors, Wang Qing and Feng JianYu, who played the lead role in Chinese gay web series "Counterattack". In real life, they are very much in love & very poor at hiding it. This fiction is about them. Also, here is the actor-character list for counterattack, which might help you give a mental picture for the secondary characters of this fiction.
