Kayla is a teenager in the Light Moon Pack. Her life is perfect and she can't wait to meet her mate until the pack holds a meeting for his son, who will be choosing a girl out of all the un mated teenagers.

Jake is the Alpha's son of the Light Mood Pack and picked Kayla to be his forced mate. One day when Kayla is accompanying her dad on a trip to a neighbouring pack, she finds her true mate. Jake is furious and tries to kill both Kayla and her mate.
