Katrin and Aleksander were inseparable. Then Aleksander died, leaving behind a mourning mother and a broken girl. And perhaps a little something more.

Through present and past, events leading up to the boy's death are gradually brought to the reader. At the same time, Katrin is forced to unravel the mystery of what really happened.
