Prologue

42 is an alien. He designs some tech for the government, but then escapes with it and releases it into the world before he is killed. His tech requires host bodies. It finds them. Now those select humans must begin on a journey that will take them through darkness and reveal the truth behind their mysteriously gained powers and in the process discover government secrets that may change the world.
