Do You Like Yourself?

Usually they say you find yourself when you are lost. Let me add to that. You find yourself when you wake up each day. You find yourself every time you look in the mirror. You find yourself in the music you listen to. You find yourself when you think about life before bed. You find about yourself in the tears you drop. You find yourself in the dreams you have. You find yourself in what you love and when you are happy. And you find yourself in what you fear and when you are mad. You can find yourself any place at any time. You can be all alone. Or with people. The only thing you have to do is listen to the words you say and learn from it. Think about it. Pay more attention to the person you choose to be even if it's not the life you wanted. That's how I found myself. And what I live to do is write. That is my version of coffee when I am tired. That is my tissue when I cry. That is my dream. To find myself lost in a world of words.
