Another Me: chapter 1

I woke to a world changed. Not knowing who i was, i was given the name Dahlia. My city showed a face that was darker and more deadly than i had ever known. Now i am a hunter, reborn to a third family that has taken me in and taught me how to survive in this darkness. But now i have to face a past which was forgotten even to my past self, erased from my childhood memories by a family forgotten, until i was strong enough to survive what was coming. I have awoken to my immortality.
