There is an older Gilbert sister, being the oldest gilbert means when she turned 16 she was let in on the vampire secret of Mystic Falls. Every summer after that she was sent to her uncle John's who trained the latest Gilbert hunter to fight. During the school year her father would challenge her mind getting her to think with military strategy something he had secretly been doing since she was young. She was molded to be the perfect defender of her siblings and at 19 there where no more training scenarios or practice drills no her parents had died and she had been called to do what she was born to do.
