Description
Ailsa Allaway was at one time, the noble daughter of a Scottish lord. After her father was betrayed and killed by an English ally, Ailsa was taken to a town near the coast in Northumbria, to serve as a handmaiden to the daughter of the town's lord. Treated like a slave and starved, Ailsa no longer was the polite, young maiden her people had known. She had longed for the day that she could open her master's throat. But that day was taken by somebody else. The raiders that came from the North - far more North than her home of Scotland - came to the town and wreaked havoc...and killed her master. Ailsa is lost. She has nobody and cannot return home - she doesn't have one anymore. So she goes with the raiders, and becomes stronger and harder...and one of the most ferocious of them all.
