Phil is what you'd call a "lonely kid" who likes to sit on the bench by the brick wall and write.
Dan is the new kid who seems to be a bit of trouble from what Phil can see.
All he wants is to sit alone on his bench, but sometimes there's just enough room for another person to sit.
But that person is most definitely not ever going to come.
