Set up. Stood Up. That's how Madelyn started her junior final's week.
Cut off. That's how Maxwell finished his.
When the very person who stood her up asks for her help, Madelyn's aghast. But Maxwell needs her help to prove to his parents he's responsible, not the party boy they think he is. All it would take is one meet and greet, to prove he actually has a steady girlfriend, then he's home-free. A $3,000 payout doesn't hurt Madelyn either - at least after Maxwell's gotten access to his trust fund back.
