Shannon Durham is, to put it simply, a rising director. She's got dreams and plans, and she's determined to fulfill every single task that she wants to until she becomes the person she wants to be; one of the most famed directors of all time. And, with excelling grades in her Film class at CalArts, she's expecting no less. But, her professor says that she needs to widen her film focus, to embrace the up-and-coming and honor the old ways. Basically, it's a fancy way of saying she's got to follow a YouTuber around for two weeks during her mid-winter break. Shannon's been told to follow Sean McLoughlin, a gaming YouTuber, and record and edit a small documentary about him and the set-up of an Internet icon and celebrity.
