Ally Darcy is fourteen. She's been in Band since sixth grade, and is now going to high school. When her teacher asks why she joined Band, Ally reflects on the best times she's ever had while in Band through a series of journal entries. Sixteen Reasons Why is a story about friendship and music, and about getting through middle school.
