Walking home sucks. Especially when you live five miles away from the closest school with a budget so tight that a bus is not even an option. The hours spent in the blazing hot sun with nothing to entertain yourself with but your thoughts is so mundane. Nothing exciting ever happened during the five-mile walk home. That is until today. The day I met Jaxon and Webster, making my life a little more interesting (and sometimes a little more annoying), even if it was only for the afternoon in the sweltering heat. Maybe even a little longer than just the afternoon.
