Shattered Glass

We all know our dear Cinderella who became an orphan in the most unfortunate ways and was ill-treated by a step-mother and her daughters before being "rescued" by the Prince Charming. But why should we assume that she lives happily ever after with some random dude she met only once before her wedding?
