Hollis is just existing. Yes, she had a boyfriend that she thought treated her well and great friends - specifically her best friend Paige, but her life just didn't feel whole. After trying to put a chance encounter with Niall Horan behind her, she is asked to interview him again. She is forced to deal with her feelings, as well as a horrific event from her past.
