Prologue

Life is always throwing something at us. Just when you think everything is good, something always comes to mess it up. As a plus-size dark skinned girl, Jasmine finds herself struggling to understand what it means to love yourself. With all of the stuff life has thrown at her, she just wants to give up. Jasmine knows she's not perfect, but is it too much to ask life for a break? Is it possible for her to even be happy? She wants love, but the first lesson Jasmine must learn is that "you are enough."
