Ariel lost her father when it all began. She set off with her best friend Stacey in an attempt to survive the apocalypse. But what happens when an odd man tries to recruit them? Then tried to kill them? He leads Ariel right into the arms of a certain sheriff boy. Also he leads her right back to the man she's missed the most.
