Moving from the crime capital of the world, to the quiet idyllic scenery of Smallville, the last thing Annie Lockett half expects is to befriend the one person who the other children label a 'freak'. In the same respect, the last thing Clark Kent expected was to have the new comer be nice to him, and soon become the best friend he never seemed to have before. Becoming inseparable is one thing, but growing up with budding romantic feelings is another thing completely, coupled with a rather big secret about Clark that he'd much rather keep a secret.
