THIS IS AN AU. Just in case you couldn't tell, y'know-- I had this tremendous idea of having Yoongi be an assassin/ hitman. Mainly cos I'm trash for angst plots. Any who, to keep things in a realistic setting, I've decided to have this mini explanation so things make more sense. The Korean mafia is known as Kkangpae. During 1894, there was an Anarchist movement led by Kim Jwajin, who established the Shinmin (a mafia district in Korea). These groups still exist in Korea, namely around Seoul, Mokpo, and Gwangju, with rumoured influence in Tokyo and US cities. These crime syndicates were known for sex slave trafficking, drug distribution, and prostitution, among other things. For this particular story, let us imagine that this Anarchist movement along with its other counterparts are still in play today.
