Prologue

After the world is reduced to total shit, Nikki must learn to survive with or without her family. With or without the walkers literally biting at her heels. With or without someone there to protect her. *Note: I do not own any characters mentioned in AMC's The Walking Dead **Double Note: This story is set a while after season 3 of the show. It may include a few events that happened on the show, but they will be set in the past and a character will be telling about them. This story will not follow season four and up. ***Triple Note: (wow Julia stop writing notes) I'm ignoring the part of the season 3 finale (SPOILERS!) where all of those Woodbury people come into the prison. I don't think that was a good plot and it's my book soooo... ;]
