Chapter 1

Audrey Colburn is the number one detective in all of Chicago. An explosion at her old precinct was suppose to kill her but you can tell she isn't dead. She was the only survivor at the 13th precinct.

Hank Voight, the sergeant at the 21st precinct hears the news and instantly recruits her for Intelligence. Audrey and Hank known each other for years. How? Hank was Audrey's Mentor, trainer, he trained with her everyday making sure she was ready for the real world, and for being the best detective she could be which she definitely succeeded. He was the father Audrey never had. but will he be able to save her with a whole bunch of people wanting her dead or will he be restrained like everyone else and not be able to save her in time?
